Ok...These guys are seriously worth a listen to. I heard two songs and bought the album.
I never buy albums. Very Tim Burton/Danny Elfman/Old School Oingo Boingo sound (With a bit of the Munsters and a Korg Reed organ thrown in). Check out The Greatest Show Unearthed and A Gorey demise. Only place I have found them is on Myspace, so if you hate myspace... Deal. You'll like it. http://www.myspace.com/creaturefeaturemusic Gwyd, amazed to find a non crap band on Myspace |

Very nice... totally different than Rob Zombie's.

Great fun track. Like The Specials on acid. There is a great tradition of this sort of music with reggae; Desmond Dekker's 'Fu Manchu' comes to mind. Incidentally, Desmond Dekker recently died - now he was a god and is sadly missed by many and especially anyone my age who caught the first wave of this when it hit the UK and flew.

Thanks for posting this. I'm not a big Myspace fan either. But, it is a great place to find music from the fringe.

I got the CD over the weekend. It did not disappoint. Tracks like "One Shot to the Head" about how to kill rampaging zombies, "Bound and Gagged" (Probably the darkest track on the CD) about a brutal kidnapping...
Creepy, demented and fun. There was not one track I did not like. That is a rare thing. Highly reccommended. Gwyd |
