Firstly, are these links to the show not a breach of copyright or something. I'm all for sharing shows but it could bring this site into disrespute. Maybe a suggestion that the show can be found on a torrent site or something maybe better.
Secondly, I can't believe that this show was shown on Friday night and no one has mentioned anything about how scared the poor guy was. I really felt for the guy and I wonder how much trouble derren and Channel 4 got into for him phoning the police? |

As far as copyright goes, the question is who own the copyright and does that person have a problem with it. CH4 makes this show available on their on demand service which is only available to people living in the UK, this is bandwidth issue and nothing else. So if this help put your mind at rest, Channel 4 know about me putting these links up, I told them. I also told them that I am not listing them in the Google listing , so it will never show up on searches. So if 'they' or anyone else has a problem with this shows being available to people outside of the UK, they only have to request Google to pull them down. And I guess on your second point, The guy signed up for it, he was a bit of wet blanket in my opinion. But if you apply to be in show with Derren Brown, then you need to expect anything. This weeks was pretty good I thought. regards steve

Steve,
I really appreciate the effort you go through to make these available to us. The bit with the gumballs was very clever and good. The crystal demonstration was "cute". All in all, a very good show. Props to DB. -Jerome.

It's a shame that next week is the last episode.

Wow. Slicker and slicker. Was it cruel? Each of us will decide that for ourselves. Whatever your answer, when was the last time you saw such a controversial and riveting mentalism act?

I suppose we in the 'states are responsible for returning the favor when Mr. Brown airs here on SciFi. who's gonna step up? if only I had a tivo...

The sweets routine begins with the introductory phrase, "a 'wunch' of bankers"...
Wasting police time is on any account uncalled-for, directly antisocial and irresponsible. That eventuality ought to have been foreseen before the guy was 'kidnapped'. Thanks a lot Steve for the link. |

I've really enjoyed watching all five so far, and hope that the sixth will prove to be just as entertaining.

Just a side note, would it have been that hard for them to take the 999 call placed by the guy? I wonder if that being left in was for our entertainment, e.g, when Derren was handed the phone he merely confirm his name , and everything was OK!, I know Derren is well known, but I don't think has has that power...yet
I did think it was funny that our Hero in the cab, had the ring tone from the series '24' on his phone, obviously a big '24' fan although I am sure he is a little disappointed that he didn't react the same way as Jack Baur would have. regards steve

This was the first time I noticed that the TorT cards can each say trick or treat depending on the orientation...thus suggesting that DB has complete control over the outcome, which keeps it suspenseful for the home viewers. I thought the "payoff" was a little less exciting than the past episodes, but I thought it was well made up for seeing a real gem from the pages of Richardson's Theatre of the Mind utilized just perfectly. Great Show! DT3 |

Hello my friends thank you for putting up the show! I don't think Popobawa would be a good subject for Derrens programme every time he wants to unsettle people he just has an actor acting a beggar asking for change. that's not so scary to me!!! I think Popobawa would turn him crazy instead at the end!
I think I know how they did the main trick in this episode did they just perhaps use the camera to edit out the time where they gave him a bottle of RUM? I see people like that every friday night in town!!!! Sometimes it is me!! Derren is excellent thanks you again Mr Howdoi! |
