Hey, this is my first message in this forum. Smile

Can anybody help me find out where this music from? I want to have this music for a lion show in the greatest circus in Europe!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZHSJEBIQ3A (On this clip, you hear the music.)

Thank you so much,

dennis r.

That's the Gary Ouellet rewrite of the ubiquitous Cirque du Soleil "Nouvelle Experience" soundtrack.

How many times has this question been asked for this piece of music?

It's a great piece of music, I agree. But I remember in another topic on this it was mentioned numerous times that this piece, and all their other pieces, are well protected against use by others.

Try a search on Nouvelle Experience, and it should bring up more on the topic.

Hey, thank you. This music is not for me, it's for one of my best friends. He works with 12 lions and 3 white lions. I work with illusions.

Check out track 18, "By Request", here. It's royalty-free. Smile

I think we need to be more careful about making comments such as these when a new Café member posts a request for legitimate information. Honestly, if you had to find a piece of music on your own, with nothing to go on but a YouTube video, where would you start? This is a great resource that has built its reputation by the members being helpful to one another.

I would use the search function first. Too many people want answers without doing the work. Every website that I go on that is information-based like this, I use search functions regularly. It's how you find the info. Also, a simple search on Google for Greg Frewin gets you his website.

And, as someone is quoted as saying numerous times:

"Why don't you email him and ask" for the music title?

I apologize if I stepped on anyone's toes. If I know the answer to a question such as this, it costs me nothing to just provide it. If not, I'll usually suggest something such as, "Why don't you e-mail him and ask?" Especially if the performer's contact information is readily available.

Search functions are nice, but are not always intuitively obvious. I just remember how much I appreciated receiving straight answers when I was new to the Café, and I am trying to return the favor.

I agree with Amos. I understand Mr. Bill's frustration, it does get old reading the same newbie questions over and over. But, that will never change.

This case has 2 sides.
The first, I agree with Amos.
But, the music is for everyone who wants to buy.
And this post does not belong in Grand Illusion.

I have no problems with rushhour. He seems (according to his few posts) as a working magician. I made my comment in a jesting manner. If it was taken otherwise, I apologize.

I just still find it amazing how many people just come here and ask questions without doing any work. It took me less than a minute to find Greg's email. I personally don't like giving or receiving quick answers. Maybe it's just my upbringing, but I was never just handed anything. I earned everything.

I guess next time I will just say it straight.

"This topic has been asked before...please use the search function," and then repost the post as a duplicate.
