Hi:
Does anyone know how different this particular effect is compared to a similar one that can be found on one of Max Maven's tapes? http://www.mindmagic.myfoolmoon.com/photo6.html |

From what I know, it is very clean and does not require the somewhat odd verbiage that the Maven routine may rely on at times. It's been on my "buy" list for some time now.
I have a few other routines from Bryn, and they are all very good. Regards, Jerome

Cleaner maybe in verbiage, but not handling. It requires a gimmick, that in my opinion was not very good.
A better gimmick would be to use the method behind Decisions if you want to use a gimmick. |

I agree with TT2. I find this far cleaner than Maven's version, and carry it always in my wallet. If someone asks me to "show" them something, it's the first on my list. For $10, you won't find a better effect. The handling is simple, the "move" (only required 50% of the time), very easy. To me, Decisions is far more suspect than pulling out your own business card with some writing on the back.

I like this too. I need to work on some more captivating patter.
Like gabelson said... for $10, this is a great "impromptu" trick that you can carry around wherever you go. |

I am also not a fan of the gimmick but I am sure it can be a great effect in the right hands. But $10 is not a lot if you will actually use it.
I use Maven's + - daily. Nick |

I do love Maven's + - and use it often. I'm bold and simply write my prediction with no funny verbiage and hand it to the participant to hold.
It hits most of the time, and when it fails, oh well. That's the risk of being bold! -J.

Thanks for the interest in BusinessCOIN, guys. For those that want some more information on the effect here are a couple links to previous BusinessCOIN-specific threads (one going back to 2003!):

IMHO, of all the variations on "BusinessCoin", (including Alakazam's Psychologicoin, Hillford's version in Band of the Hand, Maven's, etc.), I like Businesscoin the best.

Could someone say if the gimmick relies on being american . I mean in the UK can we substitute 20p for 25 cents yourself so it works here .
Thanks Roki |

The sample card I supply is made up in US coinage but you can make it yourself in any denominations you wish. Bryn

You can get a little box of what you want at your fave dealer!
This works better[then other versions]if you have coins that do not have an obvious head or tail such as the euro.

Thanks Marky but I have the item, it's just making it look good that is the problem if you get my drift.

I'd better let someone else that owns this chime in with their opinion since I'm biased, of course. I make a LOT of these (both to sell and to give out my business cards) and they take me perhaps two-to-three minutes each. The "arts and crafts" skills required are quite simple once you know the principle behind it. Thanks for the interest, Bryn
