Hey guys,
Just wanted to let anyone know who may be interested, I'll be lecturing in Linden, NJ on May 23rd at The Magicians Round Table(www.magiciansroundtable.com) and at Marc Desouza's home in King of Prussia, PA on the 24th. If you're in the area, and would like to hang out, I love to session. Also, I'm working close up at Monday Night Magic in Manhattan on the 28th. If you're looking for a good time(wow that sounds like something written on a bathroom wall) you'll be in for a real treat!!!! http://www.mondaynightmagic.com Eric Jones Prestidigitator http://www.E-mmaculatedeceptions.com

A great lecture, Eric! It's always fun to see you work, and there was a lot of elegant, visual, and creative material.
For those who didn't get to see the lectures, catch him next time; Eric's stuff is a valuable contribution to close up. |

Eric also showed up at Sojourn Magic in Bristol on Friday night, and did some very nice impromptu work for some ladies who happened by. The biggest thing about watching Eric perform, IMHO, was not his technical skills (which were flawless), but the joy he exuded while performing. Simply put, you watch this guy having fun while he's doing his magic, and you simply cannot help but having fun yourself.
That's what makes him so good. We should all have that much fun while doing magic.
Cheers,

(I was standing right next to you) Everyone there easily became COMPLETELY engulfed with Eric's magic. You should have seen him on South Street after the shop closed. I don't think the fine people of Philadelphia will ever be the same. Guys and Gals, If ever you get the chance to see Eric Jones perform, do yourself a favor and simple do so. Even if you have to go completely out of your way to see this gifted man in action, do so. Absolutely well worth it. GIANT FUN!!!

I had a blast at Magic Sojourn hanging out with all of you. In fact I have never experienced more comradery amongst such a diverse group of magicians as I did that evening.
Eric's lecture at Marc Desouza's House/ Magic Theater was overall excellent. Eric's' magic has a kinestetic, energetic quality that you don't see from that many performers. Although Eric claims that he "doesn't really do cards" his card magic echoes the same energy as his coin work. I enjoyed not only the performances and explanations of the various routines, but also the answers to some of the questions posed to him such as- How many hours a day do you practice? What are your thoughts on using a mirror versus a video camera when developing your work? What is your oppinion on magic Books versus videos? For the answers- Well- I guess you'll have to see the lecture! I also think he did a great job on his lecture notes. They were well layed out and included lots of photos and tips. But best of all Eric is nice guy who is very happy to help describe the various sleights he performs- Thanks Eric it was fun!- Mark
