I have been trying for a long time to be able to fan a deck of cards and make it look good. However, when I try, the cards are clumped together! This happens with new and old decks. I have used Aviator and Bicycle cards! Could anyone tell me why this happens?

If it's a pressure fan then ECT really helped me get it. As for the thumb fan this method took me years to perform and I still can't do it perfectly.

Take a good look at the pressure fan. You could also try fanning powder if you're having a problem with moistue on your hands or cards.

Maybe you could get Dante King's Fanning Tutorial. It's great.

You can buy some hand lotion that cuts down on the persperation on your hands. This will help immensely.

Also Dante King has a great Fanning video that is very good and affordable.

Maybe you're holding the cards too tightly on the beginning of the fan. The Jeff McBride Card Manipulations Vol. 2 video can help also. Back off on the Aviator cards for fans. The finish is not very good and fanning powder only makes it worse.
