Wait til Your Father gets Home (that was the theme song, not sure about the title)

As for Anime, what about Inu Yasha?

If you're watching the anime on Cartoon Network, a lot of it is censored before we ever see it. Cowboy BeBob is one such example.

While this does not fit into the cartoon genre, does anyone remember Ultraman, another Japanese import?

I remember two ultra-man shows. One from the 60's was Japanese and the other from the 80's which I think was Austrailian.

Remember them, the "cartoons" where the only things that move are the superimposed human mouths?

Classic stuff!
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

The first Dragonball perhaps, but not Dragonball Z. I am just thankful that the first anime I was exposed to was Akira and then Ninja Scroll.

Cowboy Bebop
Ghost in the Shell
Outlaw Star
Saumrai Champloo
.hack
vampire hunter d
Trigun
Samurai Pizza Cats! lol
Ren and Stimpy
Metropolis

Eh, I am a bit too tired to think of any more.

Also worth checking out is grave of fireflies, my friend totoro and princess mononoke. All gold!

Also checkout the animatrix. Far better then those other dodgy matrix sequels.

I have all of the episodes of Reboot on VHS tape. Taped them when the Cartoon Network was running a Reboot marathon. It was also the last time I saw the series on television. What really made it great was that it was all CGI. For something made in the mid 90's, that was an incredible feat, as it lasted for three seasons.

One new series on Nickelodeon that is interesting to see is Skyland. While I'm not really into this series, one thing about it that makes it unique is the fact that the creators use motion capture of real people to give the the cartoons a life-like appearance and movement. It's really freaky to watch and really alters your conceptions of what constitutes a cartoon.

Boy, does the reference to Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors bring back memories. LIGHTNING STRIKES!

Naruto is a good story, but the episodes are too streched out. I feel like I can just see the monday and friday episodes on cartoon network and still know what's going on, because they'll still be on the same fight.

Just how one goes about comparing Naruto and Spongebob is a bit beyond me I'm afraid...

At a recent sci-fi convention, Rocket Robin Hood was votes so bad that it was actually good. Perhaps good for a few laughs. (At it, not with it)

"Does anyone remember the cartoons about the vehicles that turned into other types of vehicles?

I used to have a car whose wheels turned in and wings came out, and a motorcycle that turned into a helicopter."

That would be MASK, I believe.

I'm a pretty big anime fan myself. As soon as the next Abraca-Pocus! is finished being edited I have the new Robotech movie (gift from the wife) and a DVD copy of Arcadia Of My Youth sitting waiting to be watched.

ps- yes, it is a new ROBOTECH movie, not a retranslation of a Macross or Mospeada release!

TV Magic Pal, You are my hero!

Mask, that was a good toon. Not a long running one, but has a lot of really cool toys related to it.
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.
