Not bad. I wouldn't use it as a standalone effect, but it could be a nice start to a routine.

The Bobo Switch could probably stand to be applied better, in this case. When you do the Spellbound, it appears more natural - you pick up a cube with your right hand, show it in your right fingertips, and rub the cube with your left fingers to affect the change at your right fingertips. I think that's fine and pretty straight-forward. But then for the Bobo, you are showing the die in your left hand, and now you transfer the die to your right hand and toss it immediately back to your left, to affect the change. The switching of hands doesn't seem nearly as natural as the first change did.

Maybe to use this little effect as a lead-in to a full routine, you could perform the Spellbound, changing the cube into a die, take the die into your left hand, and then move the cup aside with the right hand (ditching the cube in the process). Then you could do a dice routine, and eventually turn the die back into the cube as the end.

Another idea would be to turn all of the cubes, one by one, into die. For the last cube, you could inadvertantly show the cup empty as you remove the cube, then place the cup mouth down. Now you could do a series of effects with the dice, maybe vanishing them one by one. Finally, you could lift up the cup to reveal a jumbo die or all of the small dice back again under the cup, or maybe the cubes return under the cup.

you drown by staying there.

Danny gave you a lot of great advice and a heck of a routine to perform.

The only thing I would add is that just before the Spellbound you gave the audience a ‘tell’ with your left hand. I would also suggest having a bigger misdirection to get the die in the proper popper position before the Spellbound.

I think Danny nailed the misdirection problem by moving the sugar bowl with your right hand. This way you will have a natural movement with your body so the left side of your body can turn slightly away from the audience and relaxing/dropping your left hand.

Good job. I am looking forward to seeing the routine Danny has scripted for you.
