John Riggs has a whole range - best thing I like about his range is that he covers the gamut from close-up to stage impression devices, and they are incredibly well-made indeed.

I have: Impressionable Mind Board by James Biss and it is great as well. But for improptu and price, nothing beats Osterlind's little tip.

I'll second jeremysweiss motion. The device on Osterlind's new bonus CD is a fabulous idea. If it wasn't commercially available for other purposes it would be sold at high prices at most leading suppliers of mentalism and magic. Take advantage of it. It fooled me and if you don't know it, it will fool you.

I agree with James Impressionable Mind Board. The instructions show 3 different phases. And it can be performed in all type of lighting.

There are a combination of effects that can be performed using the SOM pad. However, you will have to create them yourself. As a mentalist we should be thinkers. Why do some of us want someone else to do the thinking for us?Items like the SOM are merely tools of the trade. Sometimes we are better off ignoring the instructions and just trying to figure out what to do with the item before reading the instructions. Don't we all want to be different from each other?

Don't forget the SOM purchase comes with access to the forum, where owners can share ideas. A very nice plus.

Where can I read about Shlomo Rabinowitz's Pad?

I believe there is a review in Mental Yenta magazine. Herchel Weinstein gives it 3 bagels and a shmear.
