Since the street style of levitation is still unbelievably popular (Zero Gravity, King's Rising, Balducci, and now the Elevator), I was wondering what are some ideas as to how to present it? Do you do as Blaine did and act like it is physically taxing, or do you just say "Hey, wanna see something interesting?" I know that the presentations will vary based on performing style, but feel free to give any ideas. Thanks.

One way I've thought of doing it, (haven't yet, as I haven't found the right levitation, although I have The Elevator ordered!) when I'm doing my clown gigs, is to say something about being "...so big (I am a larger person!) that at the last local parade, they thought I was one of the parade baloons!!!
So I got hired to be one... but of course, I had to learn to float first.." then have 'em watch my feet and levitate!!! Of course this would only work if you're a large person and/or doing a clown gig... but another "floating reason" anyway!!! |

I am actually very light. Your idea could be applied to me as well. Just say that I am so light that I float away if there is a breeze. When you "feel a breeze coming", you float.

Go with the balloon!!!
If I had one, I would open it up, inhale the gas, then float for a few seconds and descend while speaking a few words.
...to all the coins I've dropped here
