He was standing on a platform when the box dropped he did the same trick with a wooden box last year in times square, just changed a few things around. I was there for about 3 hours, it was cool not to watch him but to see the local magicians come out to support.

Exactly, but this trick was less obvious.
What made it unbelievable was that there was a camera the whole time in the box and anybody on the ground could see him (Before it got covered in cement).

I seen to really like chris. I don't agree with most of his "camera editing" but that's me. I will say that his lUxor Levitation in the light was FREAKING AWSOME! I don't care if it was a camera trick it was totally orgional and I loved it! Any one know if this is CGI or if this an expensive prop?

I can´t tell for sure. I would think a mix of the two. Gee, while I don´t agree on many of his methods I do like the guy. And I see his appeal with the general public.

The Luxor levitation is pretty impressive and must have caused a real stir on the Strip. Great idea and excellent self promotion for the up and coming show..

What will Blaine do next? It's funny I think Angel seems to really try too hard, Blaine just seems to stroll along doing his thing and people go wild, where as Criss seems to be waging a war to be the best.. I say they are both great for the art and do what they do well, there is easily enough room for two or more great magicians be it television magic or live..

We are in the big picture of things a very small group..

As it has been time and time again, someone has to be the 'better' magician. There is room for more than 1 but there is only one #1 spot.
