Uk £2 coins have a silver center with a gold outside that can be seperated quite easily, with a bit of force.

I've been told that those kinds of coins, if put into the freezer, will separate. Never confirmed it, though.

Years ago, I had a 200 lire Italian coin, Silver outside, gold center. I had a machinest separate them for me.

I was told that if you put it in the freezer for a while, then wrap it in cloth & hit it with a hammer, The pieces will seperate.

Find a local light-engineering firm and ask them to do it. If you have an idea for a gimmick, they will also be able to oblige and (as long as it does not involve re-tooling)is cheaper than buying most coin gimmicks.

The freezer thing doesn't work - just tried it with a é2 and a £2.
