I've been told that Derren Brown performed a version of Corinda's POWERS OF DARKNESS on one of his television programs. I've always liked this effect. Can anyone tell me if this can be seen online anywhere?

I mean this is a great seance effect (with explanation) which can be performed as shown here a la paper balls, or as a genuine mystery.

Its more or less Mike Cavneys powers of darkness routine.

Mike is selling his props and routine complete with a DVD. Well worth picking up.

Mikes Linking Coat hangers is also a good buy for a creative mentalist. There are presentations about perception and so on that can be neatly wrapped around both of Mikes great routines.

It's a routine that was demonstrated by Hereward Carrington many years ago, called MATTER THROUGH MATTER. Corinda then adapted it for stage use and sold it as POWERS OF DARKNESS. In the Corinda version, the expose was a part of the routine. The Caveney routine is a variation of the Corinda routine.

There's a version in "SW Paper Magic" by Karl Fulves. He calls it "Pendragon Rings".

I've seen Nick Einhorn perform this with wooden coat hangers very nicely.
