How unbreakable are the Bob Sanders eggs? I currently use a an "Eggs-Actly" egg, which is great and does the job perfectly - but I handle it extremely gently. It's clear that it would break if it ever got dropped or leaned on. I'd pay good money for a realistic brown plastic egg that was unbreakable.

Whit,
Thank you! I would always rather my props be used than just collected. It tells the real story. They don't make magic in a drawer. They have to be used in the hands of a real magician. Thank you for making the magic. Sean, These eggs are hard ceramic. Yes, you can break them but not easily. I keep mine in a plastic Easter egg when not in the show. (The same way I carry real eggs to the show.) It also keeps marks from keys and coins off the egg. However, these eggs clean up with baby shampoo. They are hardly the most expensive eggs available. But cost is not the same as value. Often, I actually hand the eggs to the spectator. They do not look like shiny plastic fakes. They look and feel like real eggs. The brown egg is what I used in France last summer. It was a great match. It will also hold six 2" sponge balls. That can be very handy too. Many of the pros in Europe have them now. Ask around. Bob - if you sell brown ceramic eggs, would you provide a link to the page where I can buy one? I've seen the "Eggsactly-Egg" - yes, it's good, but a real blown/varnished egg, and frankly, a bit too fragile for my liking.
Thanks, Doug |

Go with Bob, they are quality eggs. And I think the price is right.

Alan,
Thank you for passing on the eMail Address of SilkMagic@DoveLite.com Since I am not a retailer, I do not maintain a retail website. However, emails are certainly welcome. Emails work better than PMs so attachments can be added in the reply. At lectures, there is usually a good inventory with me too. Thanks again. Bob Sanders Magic by Sander |

I purchased one of Bob Sanders Silk to Eggs and the price, quality, and service was excellent. If you are interested in the Silk to Egg trick, you owe it to yourself to contact Bob. PS. He also has many nice silks available for other tricks too.

I ordered the walk-around version of Bob Sander's silk to egg in white from Rick Fisher. They are on the way.. Cannot wait to receiving them after all the good reviews I read here at the Café.. Here in Turkey, we have both white and brown eggs available. So, I decided to go with white.. I will probably get a brown one, as well.

For those who don't make the connection, Rick Fisher and Cody S. Fisher are not the same. Magicians need to know both.
Rick Fisher is the man to know at FAB Magic in Colon, MI. http://www.fabmagic.com/dovelite-products.html Cody S. Fisher is brains behind Silk2Egg. One of the hottest silk to egg routines available out there. It is a "do as I do" routine with a volunteer and it happens right in their hands! http://www.codyfisher.com/ Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

Yes, we do make the prop sets for the Cody S. Fisher Silk 2 Egg. They are also available in white and brown eggs. On stage you may like using the 21" silks instead of the 18" ones. (Silk colors are not restricted to just red.)
