I bought an assasin's puch about a month ago and It suits me well enough for my daily essentials. Deck, TT, sharpie, 2 halfs and a shell - I like the tiny pockets they make me feel warm and fuzzy 8)

Mine has held up pretty well, though, considering I wear it everyday.

I've had my Assassin Pouch for over a year and it is still in great condition. I don't wear it everyday but I wear it 3 or 4 times a week. My pockets are usually cluttered with all kinds of "non magical stuff" so the pouch is a great place to put all my little "magical doodads". I've gotten a LOT of mileage from the TT holder. For me it was money well spent.
It's not the size of the wand that matters, it's the "magic" in it...

I just went to the supermarket and got a digital camera case... with no logo. IT is the same thing as the assasins pouch but better made.. and I got it for 5 bucks... Go to price chopper and look around at the end of the isles.. Or buy a good one from frank... I would not get the sankey on though...

You can find a lot of really neat pouches at the camera section of Fry's or Wal-Mart. None of them are as nice as a real Starsini pouch, though.

The strolling pouch is fantastic. I was the customer Frank quoted a little up this thread, and I still stick by what I e-mailed him. My Sankey pouch (bought from Jay's store) fell apart within about 5 days. I am a primary school teacher as my main profession, and wore the Assassin's Pouch to work each day, it didn't last
the week. First thing was the belt loop that died on me, after that the clip loop failed. Jay was kind enough to send me a replacement, that hasn't been used at all (ebay perhaps will find it a home - but why sell such shonky gear?) The Strolling pouch was what I discovered through google searching for a card pouch. I have to say its been over a month now of daily wear, to work with all the kids trying to grab things out of it and on the weekends and its still in perfect condition. The leather has eased in a bit and it feels a bit softer now, and the clip part is holding up without any problems, and the pouch is fantastic. I love being able to run out the door quickly and grab the strolling pouch, knowing it has everything I need in it. I don't have to search around or anything else, just simply grab my keys, the pouch and out the door with no problems. Its great. Stay away from the Assassin's pouch, and get a Strolling Pouch from http://www.theambitiouscard.com you really won't regret it. |

I guess you didn't read the thread! The consensus of workers is that the Sankey pouch is crap! They don't seem to last under constant (daily) used.

I was looking for the poster to elaborate on their thoughts. Your conclusion that I was not prepared enough to have the question I posted is inaccurate. Dave

I decided against the belt loop idea. I had a couple prototypes made that way (which I'll be selling cheap at LVMI) but decided on a belt clip so it can be clipped on, clipped off, moved around, etc.

How cheap are we talking?
Can I hear 1/2 price Incidentally Frank, where do you get the clips? I've been trying to find a suitable source for belt clips for a while.

I did buy one (Sankeys version) a little while ago, the pouch itself is in pretty good condition but the thing I find the WORST feature (possibly I'm alone) is that if you do put 2 poker decks in the main section of the pouch, its a NIGHTMARE to get one deck out without fumbling around, or risk your other goodies flying out all over the place.
The quality is "OK" for the price, maybe they had a quality control issue initially or something similar, because it seems the Assasins Pouch is a very love/hate item....?? |

The Sankey pouch is horrible if you have two decks in there, you reall can't fit anything else in there. Its funny, using the Sankey pouch I would always carry two decks with me, moving up to the strolling pouch and having mroe room, I've gone back to one deck and other odds and ends to fill up the space (sponge balls, gypsy thread reel, Twisted sisters pack etc).

I have a Sankey pouch, but to be honest have never used it.
When I heard that Frank was putting out his strolling pouch, I was haunting his site waiting for ordering information to appear, and when it did placed my order. I've never looked back. His is comfortable, durable, attractive, functional, and holds what I want to carry, freeing up my pockets. What else could one ask for? Oh, yeah, a spare, so I just ordered another one. Tony |

Check the tool department at Kmart, they sometimes have big boxes of cheap tools, tape measures, knee pads, etc. I found a KILLER little pouch, which is similar to the Assassins pouch for only $5.00
