Got thinking about the number of tricks that could be used for this, it has the potential to become a fun themed show... anyone up for brainstorming?
Egg bag vanishing Bandanna professors nitemare(rope as noodles or in the routinue I use they are beans(string beans anyone ) Veges are used with wrist choppers etc PBJ trick Heals and Seals pop can any other takers? You could theme the show around healthy habits, or simply use "regular" routines and the food element is not stated but is simply an underlying concept... |

Does bubble gum count as food? There´s the gum mouth coils and ABC Recombobulator. How about the banana sponge trick. Bill Abbott has one way out of my league (lot´s of sponge sleights needed), but he ëats¨a sponge ball lunch. Also, how about the sponge banana production (also takes practice).
There are the pizza tricks (the die box Pizza Oven and the Axtell Pizza to Go). And how about Ketchupside Down (sucker tubes - available on Barry Mitchell site - as is one with mustard-ketchup-stained hanks - I forgot what it's called - maybe Crazy Stained Silks or something like that). How about all the liquid and milk tricks (the comedy funnel, Kovari´s pass through), and also Ms. Brown's Cookie (multiplying pips with a chocolate cookie). Also, there are giant hot dog sponges for production, and the ¨baking a cake in a dove pan¨ variations. I constructed a danger egg smashing trick described in the Good, Bad and Ugly (trick review) thread under Bish Bash Bosh. Also, I bought fake ice cream float from an Amazon storefront (googled it, but forgot name) and use Bill Abbott´s The Thing to ¨make an ice cream float.¨ Abbott´s apparatus could also be used to float a plastic meatball from a plate of spaghetti and meatballs. I also have drawer boxes which I use to turn plush fish into plastic sushi. It´s a great theme for a show. I guess some of these would only fit into a show which would allow junk food and the choices if you want nutrition are more limited. . . Good luck. |

Also, there´s the card in orange and for kids there´s a wooden caterpillar in apple tree (forgot the name of that one . . .). Expert sleight artists seem to use cup and ball final loads of potatoes and lemons. . .

Great ideas! Do you do cups and ball routines for kids? It has always struck me as something for older elementary at best...

Dan Harlen on his Pack Small Plays Big Birthday Party DVD has a great idea making a milk shake. I took this idea, added my own spin and it is one of the favorites in my show. You could do a healthy food version of this. Don't forget the Dove pan for making a cake etc.. You could use different fruit in a prediction effect.
The list is endless, if I was you I would start with your favorite effects to perform and look at each one and think of a food item theme for each effect... Be Young, Have Fun.. Mike
