It takes me a LONG time to solve a rubix cube......seeing as I don't own one. Well, I used to as a child and it took me a long time then too. It's very time consuming taking all the little colored stickers off and replacing them in order. Smile

So... we read minds, can foretell the future, bend metal with our minds, influence others thoughts.... AND we solve rubick's cubes? It seems almost gimmicky.

Twenty-five or so years ago when the cube first came out, a number of versions of fixing the cube hit the magical marketplace. Some of them were ingenious.

I shouldn't be surprised if some of them are being re-invented. And in none of them did you have to be able to solve the cube. Hey, the whole idea was that you didn't need to be able to do it for real.

One advantage of going to Iraq and getting a rubiks cube sent to you, is that you'll find time to solve it...

Ive got my time down to at least 3 mins or less.

You can find an easy way to solve it at http://www.nerdparadise.com/puzzles/333/

I encourage you to dust off the ones you have lying around in the attic/basement/secretbookshelf/wifespurse/medicinecabinet/ect...

You'll find it a rewarding experience I promise!

I'm looking for a jumbo cube 3x3, anyone know where I can get one.
You might say reality is the result of complex negotiations between the observer and the observed. But that is simply a point of view.

Many Thanks

I have an entire booklet devoted to magic with the cube. It has contributions from Max Maven, Meir Yedid, among others. I'm familiar with most of the methods that have come out, the best, I feel is the enchanted cube. The rights to such are co-owned between Darryl and Garrett Thomas.

I'm sure some of those methods have been re-invented over the years, I know of at least a couple repeats that have been published recently that aren't credited (and I'm sure remained unresearched) that involved things-to-do with a rubiks cube.

Hope you're well. Always good to hear form you.

Wow! It only took me LESS THAN TWO MINUTES to wreck my new Enchanted cube. Does any one know how to get it back?

Take it apart and put it back together again.

I read that that was tricky. Is it fairly straight forward? My wife (heh, heh) is trying to solve it right now.

I got it apart and put back together. Then, I left the cube on the table. My son got it and twisted it all up. Took it apart again. Now it's in the safe.

You'll usually find them in the Invocation aisle, provided they haven't escaped and are instead hanging out by the butcher counter.
