A lot of rough points.
1. Need a point to the trick instead of "OK, this is a trick with cards and coins..." Already boring. I know it's hard to be enthusiastic in front of a camera, but use this as pratice before doing it in front of audiences. 2. It's the little things that can make or break an effect. The spread was fine, but the pick-up of the spread was sloppy. 3. Having the four kings on the bottom "incidentaly" arouses too much suspicion. 4. Try not to flash the thickness of the packet. Dead give-away. Truly there are too many moves that make it complicated and thusly arrouses suspicions. Make it more simple. 5. Coins/cards are too close together on the mat. Spread them out. 6. Steals need to be more fluid. The choppy unrelaxed moves telegraph whats really happening. (note--the first steal was pretty good. Didn't catch it the first time watching). 7. Instead of the awkward putting the rest of the coins away move, why not try a simple table ditch/lapping/servante method? With more practice and good patter, this should become a great effect for you. |

Mrbilldentertainer, I don't know who the performer was. I'm just glad it wasn't Dean himself.

Not a bad idea. Maybe when the inventor does it the acting and fussing stuff comes across as character based.
...to all the coins I've dropped here
