Has anyone ever seen Henry Evans working a stripper deck?
The words "genius" and "towering" spring to mind. |

I use a stripper deck combined with Wow as follows:
* Pick a card, sign, return to deck * Reverse the card quickly in the deck behind your back * Fan the cards on a table face up (except for their card) * Put their card (the only one face down) in the Wow * Let them believe you blew the trick * Reveal their signed card * You will get a great reaction. It's what Paul Harris said about "Master versus Astonishment." find too many magicians spend too much time impressing people with their fancy cuts. Laymen just want to be entertained.
"There's no limit to what one man can accomplish, as long as he's willing to let someone else have the credit." (These words were inscribed on a small brass plaque which sat on President Ronald Reagan's desk in the White House during his second term.)

Many a professional has fooled many a professional with a "lazy" stripper, Svengali" and other gaff decks.

Very true. My new book, "Stacked and Stripped" is based 80% on the stripper deck, and I still think there's scope for more. It's a very flexible idea that hasn't been explored fully by any means.

One of the world's most advanced card technicians, whose name is mentioned all the time on this board, uses a Stripper Deck in combination with sleight of hand. Posters on this board worship the guy. So why does he use a Stripper Deck. Obviously not because he's lazy, and instead because he has concluded that it's the best tool for the particular job.
