Arnon let it go already. You clearly have no idea what you are even talking about with this mind rape stuff. You saw 20% of a clip. You don't even know what really happens. You saw a small percentage and you are making outrageous claims based off that. I know lawyers will jump on any little percentage, but it seems the ones that usually win actually have researched all the facts and have at the very least looked at the ENTIRE video in question..........This is Mind Rape!!!

YOU intentionally misled impressionable under-age high school students that they had telepathic powers temporarily, and that's what you hyped on your YouTube video clip, in those exact words. That's not my interpretation, that was YOURS. Arnon |

Arnon even if you are right (which you are not) then what? Where is Jims crime?
What if for a span of 5-10 mins these kids did have temporary powers? |

Having not seen it all, there is an easy point to made here.
If Jim had started this routine off with...I am (insert some real psychic statement) and will show you how you can be psychic, you might have a point. If Jim mentioned illusion in his opening statements, then you comments would apply to any effect and any magic...i.e people are expecting to be deceived and stumped as to how something happened. Is it just me but aren't teens some of the most skeptical lot around, their certainly are in the UK. I think their are a lot more dangerous forces out to decive our young ones than Jim, but that's just my opinion.
I do look forward to the day when you post something constructive.

I never said he committed a CRIME, but I did say he acted UNETHICALLY.
chichi711, don't try to be Jim/Jack's lawyer. I think he can speak for himself, and you are not up to the task, anyway. I don't have time to waste with you - let Jim/Jack answer me himself. |

Seems I am handling you rather well. So why am I not up to the task???
Steve got it in his post. Sad you cant. BTW steve I love the quote in your signature. lol |

Chichi711:
Then handle this: 1. Did Jim/Jack lie about having to leave this conversation? 2. Did Jim/Jack lie when he had a message on the YouTube video that those students were "temporarily telepathic"? 3. Did Jim/Jack advocate thanking a charlatan who embarrassed and betrayed the country of his origin? Just read the Café posts of the Israelis, or ask them. How about some straight answers, for a change? |

1. Then how do you explain Jim/Jack posting 4 times thereafter on other threads over a period of about 12 hours after his last post on this thread? 2. Then you must believe that those kids were "temporarily telepathic," true? 3. The Israeli people issue was not yet raised. Why have you not answered it? And the global issue of thanking someone who took these presentations from others himself? |

1. I am leaving tonight to go out of town. I can say this is my last post for this day before I go. Lets just pretend that I don't know my car broke down making it impossible for me to leave 30 mins after the post was made. I had every intention of leaving and I had every intention that it was my last post. Well now it is impossible to leave, because my car does not work. So I come back and ramble on about nothing for a few hours. Now did I lie? No, because when I made the post that was my plan and my intention. Sometimes details in the future that we don't plan on changes our plans. So No that would not be a lie would it.
2. I have actually seen the entire DVD (you have not). So I know what was said before and after the event. I also know the context that it was used in. So NO Jim did not menyally rape anyone (to much). To add to that just to be really clear. In my opinion in the context of that event those kids did experience temporary telepathy. Not one of those kids should have left thinking they were telepathic though. 3. Your third point is subjective and so it really cant be answered. Jims point is did you thank someone for his inspiration on you??? The debate was not one of chralatan or not. It was not a debate of did he disgrace his country or not. It is a simple thing. Either Uri inspired you or he didn't. He didn't say thank him for the methods. He didn't say accuse him of being real or not. You are making way to much out of it (this is your normal thing, so that is really not a suprise) Oh and Arnon. We seem to talk a lot so feel free to call me Nate. |

1. You didn't address why Jim/Jack could post on other threads, but not this one. 2. Your explanation "in the context of those events" reaffirms that the illusion of "temporary telepathy" was intentionally created by Jim/Jack for those minors. What they "should have left thinking" and what they actually DID leave thinking, is exactly what was wrong with Jim/Jack's deception. 3. Apparently your moral compass is also swayed by magnetic Vernets. Why argue with you, when it is Jim/Jack's view that is in question? Unless, once again, you are his spokesman. |

chichi711 Inner circle 5810 Posts |
Nope not his spokesman. Just someone that sees your points as crazy and way off line.
Take what you want for number 1 and 2. I answered them clearly. You just don't want to listen. As for #3. That is very far fetched to say "Apparently your moral compass is also swayed by magnetic Vernets." You are making big assumptions of me on that statement. Uri has not inspired me, but only for one reason. I didn't know who Uri was until long after I was already into all this stuff. Now had I grown up watching him and he inspired me I would have no probelm sending him an e-mail saying thanks for the INSPIRATION. Believe it or not I can actually put differences aside. Regardless of what I personally think of Uri. I would still have the ability to thank him for Inspiration. |

As of yet I have seen no proof that some of those taking part were not telepathic.
If you like I can repost the footage on my site tomorrow. J ack H.O.A-X

There was/is a large amount of discussion revolving around how to handle medical research done in Germany in the late 1930's and early 1940's (I trust I do not have to go any more in depth). Much of the research has been "blackbagged". Now there are arguments on both sides, some appeal to ethics ("You can't use information that was obtained that way!" or "Don't let all the suffering that occurred mean nothing, take something away from it!") as well as practicality ("Experiments like those will never be done again, we may learn something that will take us decades to find using other techniques!" or "The experiments never should have been done and nothing of them should remain!"). It's a matter of personal preference, I suppose, even if it seems crystal clear to me what the "right" response is. For me, the ends do not justify the means, in my example or where it comes to Uri Geller. Taking money for something that you can't really do, as Geller has done and with people who can't even afford it, is an affront to what I stand for. Given a personal choice of never being able to bend metal again but having all the damage and misinformation spread by Geller undone, I would never bend again. Thanking is both a sign of respect and acknowledgement, neither of which I feel for Mr. Geller, esp. since I did not learn or become inspired to bend metal because of him. Will I ever thank him? Never. I think my reasons are clear. My reasons are also my own and I respect yours, Jim. -Carlos the Banned
