I've seen some of the UK version, but I don't remember whether it was in England, or on cable TV in Australia. I don't have cable anymore, sadly.

Its not a bad show. Wakes people up as to how easy a con is (Trust between thieves and practice aside). Its all rather jolly in its presentation.
It does demonstrate how easily people can be made to say "Oh okay!" whilst nodding. Sort of an extended Russian street scam played out weekly.

I enjoy the show just for the entertainment factor and also
by the way you see how easily you can be scammed!

This is a great show it teaches the public to be aware of scams and is entertaining at the same time.

It is also useful for magicians and mentalist due to the psychological techniques used.

An excellent show that, for magician's, really shows you that your presentation is everything. It doesn't matter what your doing, but how. If you get people to follow you, you can literally take the clothes off their back and their money out of their wallets.

How far do they edit out failed hustles?
Do these end up on the cutting floor?

I like The Real Hustle show.
Good entertainment, you can learn something on each episode.

Last I heard anything about this show was that recently (May/June 2011) there were some "scammed scams."
Which is that there were actors employed to be the marks or background extras to make appropriate exclamations.
