Hello Great and Magnificent Ether,
I'm very new here and was wondering how I go about looking up my old associates here? Is there an alphabetical database? Can I sort by location? Thanks to any responders....currently my crystal ball has a crack problem.... Regards, Ted

Click on the member icon in the upper right corner of the page. Once there, click on the username column on the left of the page. This will sort the list alphabetically for you. You can do the same by clicking on the from column but that information is only as accurate and the member has supplied. In other words, some members have decided to use something like "Out there" for there from location. That's the way the column will be sorted.

Thanks Dave,
I've followed your advice, but the results have been dismall. Apparently I can't figure out how to jump to the letters I'm looking for, being only given the option to go to one of the next pages, or perhaps one of the last pages. Perhaps, as an example, you could show me, after I've clicked on the location field, how would I jump to the place "San Francisco" to see which magi from there are here? If it's not possible, you can break it to me gently. Regards, Ted

One problem is that not everyone enters their real names or their location.
Some may use CA, California, Bay Area and others San Francisco. Others may enter something like 'Nevernever Land". Not much help huh? This can make searching the list quite grueling and may turn up nothing at all. |

Ted, that's the only problem with using the members list to locate your friends. As Jaz said, it only picks up what members have entered and trying to find the page with that location is very time consuming. It's a little easier to shortcut to member ID's but even then it's tedious. It's the only method we have however. Of course, if you knew the members ID, you wouldn't have to use the member list page. You could simply search for them using the search function.
