I am looking for a source that carries 36" Silks that have the words
It's Magic or simply Magic on the front. If you know of a source where these can be purchased please post or PM me. Thank You. Rodney

An easy, inexpensive alternative to having to locate and buy the message silk which might take a bit of time and money is to get a regular blank (no words) 36" silk with the background color or design you like, and use a Sharpie marker to write "It's Magic" or "Magic" yourself.
This is a tip that Bob Sanders, one of the Café's silk experts, has suggested when people are faced with requiring a silk with an uncommon message or design. Hope this helps a little, and best of luck! |

If you want to spend a couple of bucks and get something that looks great:
http://www.timsonefelt.com/cgi-bin/store......ects.htm I have heard great things about this place. Best, Dan- ![]() "MT is one of the reasons we started this board! I think a handwritten one with really nice stencils should work, however I really think the best option is to get one custom made. It will cost a little coin, but isn't our performance art worth looking as professional as possible? I have purchased from Tim Sonefelt, and been very pleased.

Why not give Michael Baker a shot at it? His will have the good straight flat 2mm hems and square corners. He does great custom work.

Bob,
Since I do not know everyone on the Café yet, who is Michael Baker and how do I contact him? My son and I just discovered we are going to need 8 custom 36" silks for a routine we are creating for an act we believe will be awesome. I would like to check with a couple of people if possible to see what my options are. I would appreciate any contacts you can give me either here or in a pm. Thanks again for your expertise! Nanci |
