Does anyone have this prop. I have 2 questions. Is it actually a real glass mirror inside the tube or is it one of those "metal looking look-a-likes so-called" mirror? Do the spectators have to be seated directly in front of you or can they be off to the sides a bit? Thanks for any help. |

Don't sweat the angles because you can block the ends. However, as with any mirrored prop, handling deserves practice. Stage lights can eat your lunch.
The mirror is neither glass nor metal. Bob |

I have both a small and a large stage size version of silk mirror tubes and have never had an angle problem with them. I agree though that practice in handling is crucial.

There are some interesting effects available with the mirror tube.
Commercially, it is a neat way to go from plain silks to one with the sponsor's logo, prediction (sales goal) or a card silk. Back in the "olden days" (1979-1986) I would use it to "label" my female volunteer as a "10" (that is 10 of hearts). Thank you Bo Derek! It works just as well with rope. (Colors, knotted, cut and restored, etc.) You can have a lot of fun with a destroyed and restored lottery ticket too! Scheme! Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |
