I'm going to do a show for Service Appartement...they got 4 major competitor...so I was thinking is it OK to mention the name of the Competitor from the company that you represent....and then is it OK to mention their dis-Advantage?....how far you can mention the name of the Competitor?....how far you can take this?

Never mention the competition by name. Never say the competition is no good. Say that your company is the best, you are better than the competition. Then tell why you are better. Always talk in the positive, never be negative.
This is the professional way to do it.

Approach it from:
There are other people in this industry. However, none are competitive with us. Here's what we offer... (People like solutions. Solved problems allow them to move on. The smart ones are looking for results) The key thing to remember at a trade show is that your customers are buying inputs. It's not the whole thing. They don't consume the finished good. They sell it. Good Luck! Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

Sell the benefits of the products you are representing and not the features. Customers are always emotional buyers. To work on the emotions, work on all the positive aspects of the products you are representing at the trade show. Never ever touch on any negatives about the competitors. It will work against you.
