If Curtis liked it (and he likes to rip everything! LOL) then that's a good sign!

I really enjoyed your video and think you did a great job with it.
Everyone has different tastes and thoughts on things and that is what makes the world so great! Personally I thought your video looked very professional. The only thought I have is that I agree with Curtis, in that I really think your showing your ability to speak and understand two languages could be a real plus to promoting your show! |

Well... I watched it for more than 38 seconds and thought it was pretty good. My only " you should do this" comment is that I'd cut it down a bit as 7 minutes is a long time and I'd watermark the video if its going to be Youtube and get passed along. If someone doesn't want to watch the entire 7 minutes they should have your website in front of there face in the video all the time.
Secondly ... don't let anonymous posters bother you. You have know idea where their knowledge base comes from so don't sweat it. Best, Tim |

I agree with some of the previous posts....I think you have two good promo videos here. I think it is a bit long all together, but if you seperate it into an evening illusion show video and a variety showcase video it may be more effective for you. The variety you possess is impressive. I disagree with some of the others in that I think your personality does come across to a degree, though some talking sequences (in both languages) would add more depth. The only negative thing I could think of to say is that the first long piece of music is a bit too repetitive, kind of mono-tone, but that is just my opinion. All in all you have a wonderful showcase of an incredible variety of magic. Bueno Fortuno!

Adequate presentations of stock and standard effects. I too stopped watching after a minute or two as there was nothing there to grab me. It was nicely produced and performed but quite generic. If I had another video of a magician performing these same standard effects what in this video would make me hire you over him?
You need to infuse more of yourself into the demo and put something original and unique into it. Something that says "This guy just didn't go out and buy a bunch of illusions and cobble a show together". Really, nothing there that hasn't been done before in much the same way. Go out and find stuff that no one else is doing right now and make your act unique or at least try to infusr more of your own personality into the demo.
