As much as I loved the exclusivity of having Takagi and Lifesavers, I must say that they are books truly deserving of a reprint. The material is flat out terrific!

The Amazing Miracles of Shigeo Takagi is definitely a great book. I can't speak for the others as I don't have them, although they sound like must haves too. Even though the Sawa book is not often mentioned, I think it deserves a reprint too. But what I am most interested in now however, is the new book on Japanese magic that Kaufman is going to release this fall!!!
Best, Charles

I e-mailed Richard. He's reprinting The New magic of Japan and Five x Five Japan. He's also coming out with a new book on japanese close-up magic. There was no mention of the Sawa book.

Motown is right. So far Kaufman has not (yet) mentioned that he will be reprinting the Sawa book anytime soon.

The effects on the DVD and lecture notes are far beyond your abilities. (They require mastery of the mechanic's grip.) It would only break your heart. Sincerely, Darwin Ortiz.......(This post has got to be in my top 5.) |

I think I will be ordering them before the end of the month so as to benefit from the discount.

That's great!! I'll have to make sure I get a copy of these this fall. I've heard a lot of good things about new magic of japan and can't wait to read it. Someone had a copy listed on E-bay a few weeks ago and it sold for like 90 bucks. I almost broke down and got into the bidding war but now I'm glad I didn't.
Thanks for the info everybody, Tim

!!!Update!!! from Richard Kaufman at the Genii:
"At the same time as they [New Magic of Japan + Five Times Five Japan] are republished, I will publish a new book of Japanese magic. There will be a special pre-publication offer on all three. Unfortunately, I've been pretty busy and am not as far along on the new book as I'd hoped." Best, Charles
