I'm honored to comment on the latest work by Enrique Enriquez.

The ebook, "Invisible Readings" is nearly 100 pages, filled with Enrique's unique philosophies and insight. Basically, he has put forth a propless system for unique, inspirational and accurate readings (and mind reading!).

The work contained in this book details Enrique's own attempts to create the perfect effect and demonstration of mind reading and pure mentalism, without props of any kind. I'll say that he has hit his mark . . . this is a book and material that can change a person.

Besides his system and a myriad of other techniques, we find ourselves accompanying Enrique through past texts and history, journal notes and loads of actual experience using this work.

The book unfolds in a conversational manner and is a delight to read. That said, this is a book you will want to go back to again and again. It took me multiple readings to begin to grasp the power and effectiveness of the techniques.

So, what routines/effects are in the book? I'll say NONE. What Enrique is teaching here is a way to facilitate a pure and magical experience of apparent thought reading. This is a difficult book to describe . . . it will be of interest to those who desire to use less props, engage in an intimate experience with another and leave them empowered and breathless simultaneously.

This is work that I use nearly everyday. It is exceptional, in my most honest and humble opinion. It is also NOT for the beginner . . . the work is easy enough to understand but can be difficult to grasp initially. Luckily, Enrique has done a wonderful job of describing each and every step and detail.

It's the type of reading that is far outside the scope of most beginners (and rightfully so), and I cannot help but wish that more people starting out in mentalism had access to this type of material. Enrique stresses being a people person and REALLY caring . . . it's not just a flippant reading, but a joyous experience and one that is mutually beneficial and remains with both parties long after they have parted ways. The experience of receiving an "Invisible reading" can be profound.

There are only a few books surrounding readings that I can recommend without reservation. This is one of them, and if you do readings or are interested in the most powerful readings possible, "Invisible Readings" is a book for you.

Available at Mevproshop Smile

Sincerely,
Jerome F.

I ordered mine tonight & will probably dive into it this weekend.

Enrique's contributions in Kenton's Mind Reading book are superb so this ebook will probably be magnificent!

Hello,

sounds very interesting. I just looked at the website and only found the Tarot and Gemstone book. Any hints where to find this?

All:

It's available as a pre-release for members of Loren's mailing list only until Friday July 13. Then it will be available to the public. I've only had a chance to read a small portion of this book, but LOVE what I see so far.

Enrique's energy is crisp and lyrical and his ability to share his intutive and imagistic thinking sound and inspirational. I treasure our correspondence.

I have all three of Enrique's "Invisible" series, and they are fantastic! His thinking allows for the paradigm shift, and will allow you to really read minds! Those who have them know what I mean, and, no, this is not advertising fluff!

His thinking (and the way he gets YOU to think) truly is brilliant, and is deserving of awards! IMO,he takes the concept of dual reality and changes it into "alternate reality"! Well worth the time and energy...

INVISIBLE READINGS by Enrique Enriquez

In 'The Invisible Gemstone' Enrique gave us a small glimpse into his world of readings with a system that touched on the borders of the imagination.

In 'The Invisible Tarot' he hinted at how a system we already knew could be used in a new way to create a magical experience for both the reader and the sitter.

In 'Invisible Readings' Enrique lays out the path he took on his search for the ultimate oracle of the mind, and in his most comprehensive and entertaining read yet, shares with us the personal and professional discoveries that this route has allowed him. Although he steers a voyage through the works of Arnold Mindel, Millard Longman, Richard Busch and Milton Erickson, Enrique's personal search for a relevant, modern and effective approach of truly connecting with his clients is always apparent. As you are taken on this journey, you can experience the freedom and scope of Enrique's discoveries much as he did himself, his main finding being that instead of collecting our runes, cards and other reading paraphernalia, we could practice experiencing what we already have - our innate ability to dream and relate - everyday.

By opening our eyes to the world of metaphor, Enrique shows us how to apply these techniques using extremely practical and simple excursions that we can take with anyone at any time. By showing us how the word 'Symbol' really does mean the coming together of two ideas and giving us tools to learn to 'play' with our clients in a shared dream-state, the amazing power of these empathic and emotionally rich techniques can be understood.

This book goes beyond 'The Invisible Gemstone' and 'The Invisible Tarot' and takes us as far as Enrique has thus far travelled. Enrique's previous works could quite happily slot into 'Invisible Readings' as these concepts are also part of his journey. However, to see the thinking behind how these ideas came about and to join Enrique to his final conclusion is at once profound and simple. By truly understanding and nurturing our own states of mind and letting ourselves calm down into far more natural and connected ways of being, we can learn to take advantage of ourselves to be there for others on their own terms and in their own minds. In 'Invisible Readings' Enqrique shows us how to both let go, and connect. He has laid forth a comprehensive outlook that empowers the reader the more it strips away.

This is quite a long book for a topic of this kind, and before you go rushing off to get to the end I would urge you to enjoy the journey. The journey is the goal, and like the best readings, the effect of reading 'Invisible Readings' is a feeling of wonder and magic. If Enrique can connect in this fashion through the printed word, imagine the effect these techniques would have on a client?

Although you could say that this book is aimed primarily at the person who does a lot of readings, I would have to say that every mentalist should read this book. 'Invisible Readings' takes the core experience of what it feels like to connect with someone during a reading and brings it bang up to date. If there was ever a book that could allow mentalists to at least reconsider what is magical and what is not in the minds of their audience, this could be it. It shows you how to shoot from the hip and make no excuses.

This book is fabulous and liberating, and although it redefines what a reading can be, it's ideas and applications deserve to have a far wider impact. Everyone should read it who is even remotely interested in readings or mentalism. And now I'm going to read it again.

Aside from any application to readings, this is just a wonderful book on how to relate to people in general. It's nearly a guidebook to cultivating your empathy with others. ANYBODY could benefit from reading this book. The world could certainly use a bit more empathy.

Maybe that sounds a bit melodramatic but it is truly that good. Very touching on many many levels.

Just wanted to say that I'm half way through Enrique's Invisible Readings book & I can't wait to finish it so that I could re-read it & absorb more of his ideas/philosophies.

It's that good!

I was absolutely delighted with Invisible Tarot (which I've hardly used yet [I carry a pack with me all the time lol]) and Invisible Gemstones which I use every chance that I get
Both books have practical things/procedures that you can do/show/use
Both also have tons of by-products that I have absorbed into my readings
I can't find anything about this one that convinces me
The owners suggest that it is metaphorical/philosophical in content and covers
the other well known systems. I already have most of them. Can anybody say what is new or unique or practical about IR? I'm sure a lot of people would like to know more about any of Enrique's books
Cheers

Teejay,

This work is a difficult one to explain. I think the reviews here say more than enough. As far as what is new and unique here . . . there is plenty. Bottome line is, if you like Enrique's previous works (and I know you do), you will LOVE IR. This is top notch stuff! It is hands down the best work on readings that I have ever experienced.

Best,
J.

Invisible Readings is in a word, subversive. Enrique is putting out a clarion call for an entirely different conception of and approach to mentalism. I'm not even sure I'd call the end result mentalism, based on our typical definitions. It is hard to see Banachek or Richard Osterlind doing this!

Enrique recently wrote me, "IR is my attempt to redefine MIND READING/TELEPATHY/MIND TO MIND COMMUNICATION, based on my belief that divining a word the person is thinking has no emotional/practical relevance for that person." Instead, Enrique works with emotions, archetypes, symbol and metaphor.

It is not only mentalists who Enrique calls upon to reexamine their work; our reader brothers will also be challenged to consider another view of what it is they do. From the perspective Enrique offers, "delivering stock phrases and 'one size fits all scripts' serves the same purpose as any other oracle: all oracles are random generators of poetical images that we use to gain insight and inspiration." The Tarot and the 12 stock reading phrases as equals! I feel a collective shudder.

I've struggled with commenting on IR because I haven't been using any of the ideas in mentalism. Instead, since I've read IR, I've been constantly using variations in my work as a psychologist. In individual therapy, group therapy and especially couple’s therapy.

I don't know if it is so much learning new ideas (that is, in my field of study) as it is how well Enrique synthesizes, explains and adapts the information he shares. His work in general and IR in specific, is inspiring.

Bottom line, IR is about connecting with other people at a deep level. Enrique brings alive and teaches a kind of interpersonal feedback loop that is at the heart of real communication on both the conscious and subconscious level. This tends to be so rare in today’s world that experiencing it is indeed something magical.

I do not agree with everything in IR. Enrique and I have somewhat different views on the subconscious and I take issue with the focus on what I typically see as problems better dealt with in a therapist's office. But upon reflection and application, the positives so outweigh any concerns I have in this area that I can only encourage all to read and study IR. Think of this as a graduate course in communication and apply it wherever it fits in your life.

Bill,
I appreciate your analysis. I've been sitting back for a while now trying to figure out just how I could express the significance of Enrique's "Invisible Readings." You have done a wonderful job doing just that. I honestly believe that Enrique has made a place in mystery entertainment history with Invisible Readings. But, as you say, the actual applicability is much broader. I congratulate you, Enrique, on producing such a significant work in such an artful way. Best wishes on all of your future endeavors!
Sincerely,
Nicholas

Nicholas,

I'm glad I expressed some of what you wanted to put into words about IR. I hope it sheds light for others as well.
