I have just published a new agent friendly website, very different from flip-side.com. This one page site is designed to act as a brochure about who I am and what I do, and then drive traffic back to the referring agent.
I always have a snag in that I am not just an illusionist/magician, I am also a singer and incorporate that into my act. Translating that to a client though has proven harder than you might think. Take a look at the site and let me know what you think. http://www.johnpyka.com |

I like the look and content.
I do have one techie suggestion. At a glance, it doesn't look like you've taken steps to keep this site out of the search engines. You may want to do this. You don't want people to just stumble across this site, since there's no contact information. You only want people to get to this site if an agency sends them there. You can either use the NOINDEX meta tag or the ROBOTS.TXT exclusion standard. Either one will keep all "well behaved" search engines from listing this site. (A quick Google search should tell you everything you need to know about how to set this up, but if you have questions, let me know.) -Brad |

John -
I've always taught the more specific a page is to the customer the better it is. If you have all those talents - make a page for each of them, nothing worse that confusing the customer or causing them to change their mind. For me I have a different webpage for every service I offer. Also if you do this you'll be able to track which stuff is booking more than the other. Just my 2 cents |

Yes, but my act is all three. The Fusion of Music, Magic and Theater!
I am *thinking* about focusing more on the magic aspect in my marketing, but I don't want the clients to be surprised when I sing and play different characters in the show... I don't know, we'll fly with this for a while and see... |
