I'm not looking to start an arguement, but I've heard that is a very difficult place for "born-again" Christians.

There used to be a nice little magic shop in Salt Lake. I don't remember exactly where but it was in a mall near the main downtown temple from which all the street addresses emanate. this was years and years ago though so it probably isn't their anymore.
Salt Lake is a curious place. If you loved the Fifties you'll love Salt Lake as it has a rather faux Leave it to Beaver feel to the place. Only about half the town is Mormon these days so it's not quite as insular as it used to be though it's quite impossible to go shopping on Sundays as there are, or at least were when I was doing business down there, blue laws still on the books.

Alas Showplace Magic Closed its doors in 2005... I litterally shed a tear.

Very few (read maybe 1) "born again" christian magicians. But many magicians with good hearts and messages in their magic.
