Hi Gang.
I'm looking for a builder's site I came across in a post here on the Café a few days ago, but now I cannot seem to find said post, and I don't recall the name of the website. His prices seemed quite reasonable and I was eyeing a 'Shadow Theater' he offers for around $2500. Anyone got a bead on who this is? Also, for those of you in the area, I'm in Atlantic City all summer performing with Franz Harary at the Tropicana. Come on by and see us! thanks, travis

I have let you a message in PV, cause we sell this illusion (exactly this one) in our local store, and we can give you a real better price for this item. Excellent craftsmanship, and all included. Cheers STEPHANE ARNOW / Aime concept FRANCE Posted: Jul 20, 2007 3:32pm In fact we do 15 % on different items in our magic Store here to the beginning of August. best regards Arnow |

Just to eliminate any confusion that might be out there, it's Magic Prop Shop, NOT Magic Pro Shop. Magic Pro Shop does exist, but it's something else.

Well, it's Franz, 6 dancers, and myself. I do a ten-minute set in the middle of the show.
And Erich Troudt is filling in for Franz while he's gone for a week.

Ok I've herd you do the Bob Kholer phone book routine correct?

That's correct. Every night. And I vary the method from night to night sometimes.
Here's a recent review of the show from the Courier Post: Thursday, July 19, 2007 Sure, Atlantic City has become the young-adult monument to hedonism that's "always turned on." But that doesn't mean there isn't room for family-friendly entertainment, especially this time of year, when youngsters are particularly abundant at the Jersey Shore. And since there's no casino show business offering more family-friendly than a magic show (a genre that isn't nearly as common as it once was in the city's gaming halls), "Franz Harary's Mega Magic" is a particularly welcome addition to the summer entertainment scene. Franz Harary is no stranger to Atlantic City. Back in the day (the late-1980s and '90s), when you couldn't swing a magic wand without hitting some gambling-den wizard or another, Harary distinguished himself as one of the best magicians not named David Copperfield. And while "Mega Magic," which runs through Sept. 6 at the Tropicana, isn't filled with as many astounding illusions as we remember from his past visits, it is still a first-rate affair. Any show of this sort depends primarily on technical ability, presentation and staging. Harary and "Mega Magic" deliver on all counts. Harary is a top-notch mechanic. Among his many cool bits are those in which he seemingly transforms a female assistant into a boa constrictor, impales another one with a large, three-pronged light stick and switches the top halves of two of his dancers. Many of these routines involve visually arresting devices and contraptions -- there is little that is small or "close-up" about "Mega Magic." The production is enhanced by the stage-filling sets and props, and by Harary's warm, non-imperious stage presence, which contrasts nicely with his grand illusions. "Mega Magic" also features a mid-show turn by Travis Winkler, who actually delivers the evening's most amazing stunt. Using sealed envelopes given to audience members who are arranged onstage in an ostensibly random manner, he divines a telephone number chosen by another volunteer from the crowd. Somebody should give this guy his own show! Show times are 7 p.m. Sunday, Monday and Thursday, and 3:30 and 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Admission is $25. For tickets and information, call (609) 340-4029, or go to www,tropicana.net.
