We talk about tables all the time in the busking board on this site...
here is thread I started about making your own table Making your own is very easy and much less expensive than buying one. Even someone with very little skill (yours truly...) can make a very nice table on the cheap!

Here are the latest additions to the table scene.
1. Table The World Awaited by Dancing Spring Magic: When I received this table the top which is covered in a very thin plastic self-adhesive. Was bubbled up along one edge. I just tore off the thin plastic and sanded the wood, stained it and got a drape cloth. Click here to view attached image.
An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

2. Joe Lefler's Pro Suitcase Table – Large:
The rollers didn’t let this table “roll” very well. Went to local hardware found another set of roller that looked almost the same. They looked so much like the original set I wasn’t sure they would make any difference. (All the holes even lined up). But the table now rolls. Added drape cloth to this as well as I didn’t care for the handle in the front and the fuzzy speaker cabinet look. (But the table is large and does work well now). Click here to view attached image.

I have made from trial and error several closeup cases.Spent a lot of money and time trying to arrice at the perfect close up case that could travel on a plane well.
In looking at http://www.proxmagic.com/Pro-X_Store/Pro-X_Table.html I realize I made the same thing with a different stand. The case was $20 at home depot. I bought up several of them and added a stand from EZ magic for $40 and well ah. Also I retro fitted the pencil holder etc to be a servante that hangs on the outside of the case when in use or performing. If you would like to see a pic ,Just email me. Its very similar to that $200 case with out the expense. Good luck... jpz |

I have never invested in a Magicians Table. Always used a card table, but does anyone have a good recommendation for a childrens show table? Typically have Square Circle, Dice Box, Zig Zag Rocky, Dove Pan and other Parlor tricks that I need to have room for.
