There are plenty of negitive opinons by testers. Read old Close articles and others posted in Genii and several other mags. If someone dosen't like something they say it. My only issue is they sometimes might not consider the intention or the skill level of a performer that might like the trick, considering they are a different person or have a different objective while performing it. All in all, many of the critics are honest.

Magic Mke. I do not have this Product (yet) However I did watch the video and thought you might want to place this item behind your Backdrop while the audience is coming in and taking there seat. This allows your assistant to stretch out a little and not be cramped in the item. when you are ready for the production move the back drop out of the way and do your production. I guess this will depend on the backdrop you are using. Just a thought.

I saw the demo and was not impressed with it. However, I certainly respect the opinions of the performers who actually have used it with success. Demos, as someone previously mentioned, can be deceiving.

As one of the first testers I just wanted to cover a few things that people have brought up. The issue of people looking down into the unit. I too had to face this issue, and came up with a simple solution. I used the inner red tube as the cover. Having it lay flat ontop of the outer box allowed the inside to be seen as empty and allows the red box to be shown empty too (since it is flat). Then you just open the red box put it in, lift the outer box do your business and you are good to go, I hope this makes sense. It really gave this a more casual feeling too. As for the flaps on the bottom...you may decide that the flaps on bottom are where you need them. Whaat I did was add small magnets to the inside and the ends of the flaps, which hold them up in place and out of the way so you don't get the flap flapping in the wind. Lastly I just wanted to say this is a great product...but not one for every situaion. Please remember this is an illusion, and should be treated as such. If the room is not right for the presentation then don't do it, you want to hold the Illusion of the prop higher than the fact that you spent good money on it and want to use it as much as possible. In the right situation (especially for large family audiences) this is a killer effect, one that does not require an additional assistant...the possible uses are endless and I hope those who do buy one truly brainstorm all the options in front of them...creative magic lists many great ones already in their ads...use this as a starting point and enjoy.

I like the idea of having the red cube flat on top at the start of the effect. Magic Mike

I recieved mine last sat, it is awesome!
Most importantly of all, Play VERY Big & Pack small (very fun to play too) I am using it to produce birthday cake by placing it on a clean/clear sq. acrylic top with 55cm Spidertable by Claus(Germany)....I am toying around to see if the mum or dad can goes in there too...loading/hiding them behind the spider backdrop....it will be a surpise for the birthday kid & guest! The only con is that you need space for this trick.....workmanship is brillant...value for $! Great job Brian dove-boy |

I think the price is fair. But then I have had a $100 bill sitting in my thumb tip ready to do a bill switch for 14 years.
