Back to you.. lol
Actually. I've never heard of spidersilk thread as far as magic is concerned. Hmm, that's something for me to look into though. Do you know who markets it? Or are you talking about actual spider silk (Made by spiders). I know it sounds like a strange question but you never know what magicians have found uses for. I saw an animated cigarette where the method was an inch worm. It actually looked cool too.. But I've never heard of an inviisble thread called that. Ron Jaxon |

No, this is not spiders silk, but a product at the local magic shop. I have decided to buy it and will give you an update.
got it. Correction, its "spider thread" comes in a thin green packet costs about $10. Sorry, I don't know who markets it. Inside is a length of what looks like one strand of nylon from flat black (Danskin?)nylon tights. Not a real good deal, .

OK. I have seen that before. I didn't care for it much either. Sorry, If I had known I would have told you what I though about it.
But, I use to find this stuff at stores where they sell fishing equipment and it was called Spider Thread. This stuff was great. it pretty much looks like fish line but it was elastic. It was used to tie knots in the lines. At first I thought about just using for the rising card type thing. Then I discovered that you could actually strip this stuff. Oh man, a lot of cool things could be done with it. Not really levitation's because it would shine a lot, but it was neat. I can't find this stuff anymore though. in the fishing sections of stores it seems to have been replaced with something called Magic thread. It does what the spider thread was made for about making knots, but it wasn't like the stuff I had before. I'm still searching for this stuff though. It comes in an orange tube. If any of your run into some please let me know where. Ron Jaxon |
