Of the four or five that I've tried, Lincoln's Best Boon is my favorite by far: http://www.lincolnworld.com/products/

After using almost every nw and b**n out there, my favorite has become Eric Mason and Jerry Somerdin's boon. At only $13-14, to me, it out-performs boons and NW costing far more (and less). #1, it's tiny; easy to hide, easy to ditch-- particularly because it's metal and can be used in conjunction with a m***et, #2, it's incredibly stable, and #3, perhaps most importantly, it writes in a THICK, easy to read lead, so unlike other boons, you don't have to decide between listo (grease) and lead. By far, heavy enough to read from the stage. As far as I know, it's only available from Ronjo.

Thanks Gabelson,
$70 for the PP writer and boon from Lincoln it currently a bit too much of an outlay for me. |

Ragingcalm,
You'll get a lot of opinion outa there on this topic. The problem is that it's most a "fit" question than a rational question with pro and cons. Everyone has a opinion, there may be convergent opinions, but there is no universal truth. The only way for you to find out is to try. And if nothing really fits you prefectly, the Rolls Royce of NW gimmick is to design your own. My 2cts Jean-Pierre
