Eric Anderson has an effect in his lecture notes that makes use of glycerin. It's the effect where matches burst into flames as if lit by the performer's mental powers (or superman-like heat vision). http://www.misdirections.com/exclusive/anderson.htm

Thanks for the information Tbaer. I'll try experimenting with my own bottle of corn huskers first. Twelve dollars is a bit steep right now for a bottle of soap suds.

As for having the glycerin, maybe you got it so you could learn to manipulate your cards in some interesting new ways in some strange and unusual places that will leave your fellow magicians stunned and in total awe of your dextrous abilities and vivid (albiet sick) imagination! Smile
