Yep. Just like seeing "imaginary" friends. But then there was Captain Howdy!

Secular statues animating would befall unto the Galatea Syndrome. I'm certain The Curator would heartily recommend Cocteau's Blood of the Poet.

Our royals aren't even proper Norwegian royalty. We never had any since we had been a peasant country governed by occupying powers for so long. The rest is not history as much as a farce. BTW. The correct way of pronouncing the ä in Märtha: The exact sound sheep make. In any language.

No need for violence. Just wall them up inside the palace and let them ask the angels to feed them.

I think this is a great idea! Actually both devil's and angel's can be lucrative however the problem with devils is that the "practitioners" can get a little self indulgent with the whole concept to the point of kitch or bad college theater. Doing angels can become just as much of a trap if one isn't careful. One might become to precious or holy...or holier than thou with the whole thing. Subtelty I think might be the key. The public, in general, loves both demons and angels. Just look at all the horror flicks and fantasy novels. Making that concept play in, what is essentally, a magic show is rough because making such a claim like....let's communicate with angels....will either get laughed at or draw audience that will drink the cool aid. But, if you construct the experience with delicacy and intellengence it could actually be fantastic! I'd like to hear where else you'd like to take that idea.

If anyone is interested in 'mummified angels', check out http://www.lebanoncircle.co.uk/Blog_Page.htm
Dan Baines created a bit of a stir in the u.k. national press a few moths ago with the 'discovery' of buried, mummified angels in Derbyshire. I think he may still have a few available. Leslie.
Stories....?....That's telling!
