I seem to know a bunch of stuff about a bunch of stuff...most of it useless, some things partially amazing and almost all incomplete...but there is one area I'm pretty well versed in and that is Wild Life (The Animal Kingdom in general).

So it is in stunned wonder that I bring to you today a creature I was not aware existed till this morning while going at warp 9 through a trivia quiz.

It fits in the palm of your hand. And I would love to see one in real life. Alas the Zoos do not have these little critters and they are considered endangered.

Anyway to add to your remaining brain cells, here it is...

I'm sure somebody out there heard of these characters but this is for those who haven't yet. The Pink Fairy Armadillo. Just a few inches long and a true wonder.

Of course I'm a person who is awed by a Sponge.

Do you have a regular female companion? Perhaps you need a hobbie like magic or something. My mind stopped wandering when I met my second wife.

Al,

My mind would stop wandering if I met your second wife, too!

Paris Hilton needs one of those. Great accessory.

Sorry Al...I don't have the luxury of allowing the mind to wander...always locked in on something in multiples. You can't lose the Wonder...maybe you have too much of a female companion?

Or, a marketing ploy to put my name in the category? Smile Or was I really taken with the little beast? The latter actually...and Josh you got something there! We need to figure a way to clone 'em...a 4 year lifespan should be good enough for her ya think?

Can you say "yes dear" "no dear" "I'm sorry dear" "yes it is all my fault dear" "I forgot dear please forgive me" "please don't make me sleep on the couch tonighy dear" "coffee in bed, of course dear" "yes dear it's my turn to pay" "yes dear I'll take out the trash".

She is a beautiful, high maintance woman, who helps me keep focused, and if my first wife wasn't such an evil witch I would complain. I tell my kids she is just 90 pounds of trouble.

How do you cook em? Sauted? broiled?, fryed?, little garlic and oil would be good, I bet.

I love seafood.

Scaly plates and hair, I'd eat it like an artichoke.

I'm with you Doug...That was one cool little critter.
It isn't often I see a creature I haven't read about or seen before, so thanks!

That's the question I always want answered whenever some ecologist starts talking about a newly discovered endangered species:

"How does it taste?"
