First off guys, the site looks great. A real nice look to it. But another chat board? I don't know... seems like there are too many as it is. It would be nice to have another board like the KJ board where there are no internet Aholes, I'm sure I do not have to explain what I mean by that. If you monitor the board, which seems like a full time job even for a couple of guys, there is no reason why it could not be a nice place to visit.

MT is one of the reasons we started this board! I’m so sick of posts being deleted without any reason given, and by unknown people at that.

Since you mentioned MT as well Steve, let me say that I do not blame Bryan for the shape of that board. It is just out of his hands now. Bryan is a good guy who has worked incredibly hard to provide the magic community with a cyber place to gather. He has put an incredible amount of work into it.



I just hate the Aholes who attack you for your opinion. There are guys on there who will post attacks on anything that I post, regardless of the content. You can just feel the hate on some of those posts. It upsets me to the point where I just cannot go there anymore. But I want to be clear that I do not blame Bryan. I feel bad for him having to baby-sit all of those children.

Seriously, I think it is a good idea to keep the kid show info separate. You know how it is, corporate sees that you do kid shows and they figure that you are a clown and you don't get the call.

Just spent some time with Terry Godfried and Goldfinger & Dove/ Some of the nicest and down-to-earth folks around.



You are correct, Sir John. There is another site devoted to the Brotherhood of Underground Magicians, although it is not part of my site. I merely add a link for the boys to see when the next lecture and meetings are. There's even a board there as well for the boys to communicate with each other.



I don't know how many of these things I'll have time for anymore. Paul at Hocus Pocus is adding a board as well, and I am to be the administrator. Sigh. I don't know what will happen when the Vegas thing and cruises start up again.

Just out of curiosity, why are the asterisk marks placed whenever someone types in a word such as "assure?" I noticed it in my latest post on restaurant approach but also noted it from another post previously. At first, I thought it was intentional on the part of the person posting, but I can see it was built into the program’s software. Please note that I tried looking for the explanation for this elsewhere before asking here, but I didn’t come across any explanation...
