Hello Everyone,
I am wondering wether or not someone owns the rights to this effect? It has been done before and I am not claiming it as mine. I just need to know as I may end up making instructions and cards to sell to other Magi&clowns.. as I have two lectures lined up at 2 Clown Alleys.. anyways the effect is... spectator rips card into 4. puts the pieces in a bag, one piece is givin to the spectator, rest of card vanishes. appears at the back of room fully restored missing one piece that is still in the specs hand. please don't shoot me I'm only asking. I recall this as something that was suggested in the instructions for the card box. It's sensible and also something that folks have been using an intercessor for as well.

If you've got a script (presentation) then kindly sell it as that.
IMHO the thinking is not novel and for now you might want to call it your take on the classic torn and restored card trick. Maybe someone like Bill Palmer can give you a direct citation to where this idea (corner etc) was first published.

Why use a bag to disappear the pieces? I've seen someone restore a card in the hands. This is basically the torn corner principle. It doesn't matter whether the card appears inside an orange or on the back of the room. It's all been done before. Not sure about the publication history, but I'm not seeing anything new that would warrant publication at the moment.
