Does anyone know if Syl Reilly's Brain Echo is in print anywhere.

Bob Cassidy refers to it in his Art of Mentalism 2 but doesn't list where it can be found.

Thanks,

Iain.

A while back I saw it for sale on Tannen's website. I can't imagine they reprinted it so the chances are you'll get some yellowed paperbacks.

I performed this a few times back in 1971, but was never excited about it. I think there are much better book tests out there today. Brain Echo seems so limited. I don't own AoM2, so maybe Bob has a great twist on it.

My memory may be hazy 35 years later, but the ad copy seems a little misleading to me. Anyone agree?

'Brain Echo' is described as part of 'Mental Echo' in "THE MIRACLE MAKERS" (1975).

Slim, 3 books are included. If its those 3 I'm not sure but would venture yes.
Like Terry, I think the 70's was the last time I owned it.

Hi Lain,

I have the instructions for Syl Reilly's Brain Echo effect. Do you still need them? Sorry for the late response, just saw your request.
Cheers,

The basic "crayon" technique used in Brain Echo is extremely useful when applied to magic markers. It's on of the best crib techniques out there.

The actual effect, however, is no longer available as far as I know. It would, however, be very easy to make.
