You are right, Nedim. And that also depends how the silks are used.

You can use silks as silk magic but it might be boring in a manipulation act. Also if you use silks at the beginning of the act it becomes boring. So you must have the good opinion of using silks.

Nedim, James is right, "And that also depends how the silke are used."
Check out Peter Marvey using silk in his manipulation act: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YguJ5tMYT0s |

Gloves can often be used at the start of an act to create similar misdirection to steal. That or Ganson had a way of producing a deck and a half of cards without steals using the gloves, which came off as he was producing (Expert Manipulation of Playing Cards). Excellent method.

What about that!
I come out with "empty hands", in my left I`ve a silk palmed, in my right some cards! I produce the silk and produce the cards out of the silk!Leave the silk on the floor and do some card manipulation, at the and of the card act, I change the last card into a ball, do some ball manipulation then I change the ball to silk, the silk comes in my pocket and from the other pocket I take a new ball, then I do the multiplying balls and end up with four balls in my right hand, take the pretended silk I`ve put in my pocket before, out again and produce a cane, swing it around and the end "picture" is the cane in one hand and four balls in the other! |

Chrisgali, it seems you are now being creative after all the ideas we have given you. Watch magicians on You Tube. Do not try and copy their acts. Try learning ideas from them. And remember only one way of doing something is incorrect. Because there are hundreds of ways of doing something.
