Hey guys, here is a link to an effect I've been working on. Any comments are welcome. Let me know what you think.

Brandon, it looks really good. My only criticism is when you say you don't use duplicates, gaffs, etc...why say such a thing? That kind of patter is really for magicians, and if you show that to a magician, they'll be in the know, and wonder why you said what you said (I'm trying to be discreet here). Performing this effect for non-magicians, there would be no need to say you're not using duplicates and gaffs, for obvious reasons.
Visually, it's very nice - great technique, very smooth! :) Kaylan |

Keylan, thanks for the input, I made this demo specifically for magicians,so that is why I said those things. I'd never say them in real performance. Oddly enough, I probably wouldn't even perform this for laymen, it's more of a session item.

Gotcha - well if I could do that as well as you do it, I would find a way to perform it...it's really good!

Thanks for the compliments. If you want the particulars on the routine, I'll be glad to email you a vid of the explanation.

I was going to point out that for a "person" it may not be good to do.
The constant snapping and brushing of cards really irritates me. It is handling a card like a magician. I honestly think the best way to fool them with doubles is to simply NOT snap them now. The moves themselvs are very nice. The DL is ok and you do handle them ok, but like I said all the snapping and brushing really is kind of much. They are just cards, handle them like cards.
