Forgive me for posting if this is an old one but I just discovered it.
As quickly as you can add these numbers together in your head... ready..GO! 1000 40 1000 30 1000 20 1000 10 Did you get 5000? You're wrong. When you get the right answer please don't post it so other may enjoy this. Best, Tim |

Old, but still a good one.
I can remember having it written on the back of a business card, then using a second card revealing one number at a time. Let them add as you go down the list. It really fools. Tom
