This probably an incredibly stupid question - apologies in advance.
I've been asked to perform for some seniors, and I'd like to include a silk routine for it's visual impact. Could someone recommend a pre-sold routine that would suit me as a beginner, and them as an audience. I do *no* silk-work currently. I know the afficinados would recommend a book - however, at the moment I'm more than prepared to buy someone else's thoughts, and a few simple props. Thanks |

I always recommend MisMade Flag. Even for audiences with language problems (like hearing problems are one seniors never have) the audience can follow what's happening and know to laugh. With older Americans it is also an attention holder if the Flag is used. By all means, remember to respect the final flag! In the UK, you will need a special version of this.
A cheaper and even easier prop to use is the 4-color Change (pull through). But I recommend the 18" pure silk pro sets instead of the 10" synthetic toy. Using real 18" silks allows you to transition to and from other silk tricks and build a routine. Silk magic is very visual and can be done just to music. As more and more language problems are appearing in audiences, I find it a great “out”. Enjoy! Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

Lester I accedently sent a message. Anyways I agree with Lester. You need something like a change bag to vanish the silk.
