Hi just received the Mini Icue, with the Click-Feel remote. Very nice indeed.
The one issue I'm finding so far is this: Everything is set up so that when a song is over, it automatically cues up the next song in pause mode, waiting for me to press Play. However, when it comes to the last song on the playlist, it doesn't pause OR play it, it just skips over it and goes back to the main menu (iPod). It works fine for the whole playlist, except for the last song. In other words, when the second to last song completes, the title of the last song comes on the iPod screen for a second or two, and then skips to the main menu. Has anyone else experienced this? As an update, I just added a 5 second silence track at the very end. Now when I play my second to last song, it goes to the last song for a split second, then goes to the silent track, and then immediately bounces back to the last song, where it stays in pause mode (the way I want it).
Don't know why, but it'll work for me. Brian |

Hi there
I haven't had this problem but I have put some extra songs at the end of the playlist that I sometimes use as the audience walks out. Having these extra songs would also solve your problem |

The instruction disc and the printed instructions BOTH tell you to have extra songs added at the end of your playist (on the go, or whatever you use) to prevent it from doing that.
With the iCue2, there's absolutely no need for an SILENT TRACK. When you say "when I play my second to last song, it goes to the last song for a split second, then goes to the silent track, and then immediately bounces back to the last song"...I'm not sure what you mean. You play the next to the last track, it completes it, then, instead of cueing to the last song and stopping, it only plays a second of it then goes to the last (silent) track? Get that silent track outta there, and just add some songs to the playlist after all the necessary tracks. Something to play as the audience is leaving...that will solve your problem. Steve |

The last song, prior to the silent track, *is* the song that people are listening to after the show. I only have one song there at this time since the sound system at the show belongs to the DJ at the event. As soon as I start packing up, he'll start playing his own music. So I just wanted one song at the end, during which I've dubbed in an announcement about purchasing souveniers. So, in order not to lose that one last piece of music with the announcement, I need the silent track at the very end. For other shows I do, I can pad it with other songs. Make sense? BTW, I want to thank the tech support at Virtual Soundman for responding within a few minutes of my asking the original question yesterday. I wasn't expecting them to be available on a Sunday, and was pleasantly surprised at their quick response. Brian PS. The quick guide says "Pad your playlists with an extra track or two at end to avoid bouncing out." As a first time user of a system like this, I wasn't quite sure what that meant. Now I do. |

Better believe the VSM guys/techs WILL take care of you. I'm certainly glad you're not hacking stuff together or modding existing equipment to accomplish what we professionals do! I couldn't be more pleased with my iCue2.
