Whoops, didn't realise I double posted...
DougNicols, I fully understand what your saying and do agree, but it's not just the basic method that makes the effect what it is, but also the routining and the way in which the method is utilised along with it. Sometimes that new hat is what makes all the difference (I do only mean sometimes). Ace, is there a thread about the third method and yours? |

If you want to know more about the third method of Impervious and the impromptu verison of Sealed & Stuck, just read through the reviews of Impervious or check out my product page. According to the reviews, the method is simple and clever. |

Ace, how long did you work on your effect before its release?

I spent a year working on these CTBs before releasing them. A lot of time and effort are put into these CTBs.
I want to create the most impossible looking CTB. I want to challenge the impossible. That is the thing I had in my mind when I was creating these CTBs. One of the end products is a visual coin in factory sealed bottle effect, with the coin bigger than the neck of the bottle. The reviews are good so far, and I hope you guys will enjoy performing them. I'm looking forward to the new CTBs that are coming out too. Hope these CTBs can continue to challenge the impossible. =) |

If I'm not wrong Chris's bonus handling of Impervious was inspired by Jeremy's handling. Hence it is likely that the method was discovered by them sometime this year where they met and see each other's effect. I have been using that same method for a much longer time. Yup this thread is about MacGyver's CTB, let's not go off topic. When can we see demo videos of these new CTBs? |

Hey macgyver,
your effect sounds really awesome. as mr. ace might know (due to the "youtube email" I sent him), I also invented a coin in bottle that was factory sealed with a coin larger than the mouth of the bottle. it seems I had my idea a few months too late, as I thought it up in late june early july, what with you, ace illusions, and nick verna creating similar effects. no hard feelings however, as I'm only 14 back to the topic, your effect sounds great. how clean is the handling and how many handlings are you planning to release? I only ask because it seems like you have a lot of different ideas.. coin in bottle, signed coin in bottle, big coin in bottle, key in bottle, card in bottle, factory sealed, ect. which is great, its awesome, just its a LOT of stuff? thanks in advance. |

Update: will be getting a camera on monday.
I know I said I'd bow out of this thread but just to let you now I want to keep the card in bottle exclusive for a little while longer so I shall not be featuring that in the book. Even with that gone there is more variations and handlings taught in there than any other coin in bottle out there. The handlings look very clean. 3 people have seen the teaser, Bill Palmer, John townsend and theguy.. so you can ask them. That teaser. was shot so badly in my untidy room. Life has become hectic with a few contracts for major companies (with my graphic design business) so I'll get to this as soon as I can. Til the demo , See you! Mac |
