Hello everyone,

Just getting into mentalism and enjoying myself immensely (just ordered a bunch of stuff based on reviews from here!). I find that I am drawn towards having a mixture of esoteric/occult practices and psychological manipulation in the routines that I do and I'm enjoying hunting down useful props for such things...

My question then was whether anybody knew of good marked tarot cards (just major arcana is okay) - preferably in a Waite style or another traditional one? Has anybody had any experience with the TellTale Tarot (seems a bit pricey to me)? (http://www.blackhart.co.uk/page95.html)

Thanks for any info...

If you buy a pack of tarot called Esoterico (cards4magic.co.uk I think I got mine from), their backs are very easy to mark...

The set mentioned and that Anabelle links to are the ones I have.

I was initially slightly cautious with them as I thought the markings to be a little too obvious - but now appreciate that's only the case when you're in the know and look for 'em. I haven't been questioned on the cards yet!

Once you learn the very easy marking system you can start to work your suitably dark miracles in no time.

I've not purchased any Black Hart products as yet (I got my Tarot deck from Davenport's) so can't really comment personally, although following reviews on forums of his products and service then I've only ever seen very good things said.

I did however communicate with Keith by e-mail briefly a while back and would certainly vouch for him being helpful and one of the good guys.

I think these are the same ones (but £25) , Marked Deck by Juggler. I recommend the dealer too:

Hello

Telltale tarot by Black Hart comes with more than the regular 'Juggler' deck. There is a subtle crib that you can use in full view of your sitter. We give you instructions and suggestions for routines with the deck and now you also get a complete new routine 'Meet The Reaper'. The price includes postage and packaging world-wide (by surface mail) AND you get a full 90 day money back guarantee.

That's a pretty good deal from Black Hart, especially with the extra routines. Even a normal Tarot deck is approaching that price anyway. I'm next to positive there's a Waite deck someplace but unfortunately I cant find the link for it.

I'd definately agree. If my failing memory serves I paid £22 for the deck alone with no routines, nada.

Christian Chelman had a great set out once. It may be hard to find, but they are worth it.

Hi all,

I bought 3 sets of the Black Hart ones. Absolutely brilliant and importantly - easy to read under fire!!

Cheers,
