I have created an appearing minisubmarine (a real one, from the navy).
I´m working on the plans righ now, and I´m wondering about how to put it on sale.
After it appears onstage, the performer can call a couple of members from the audience to go up onstage, to touch it and feel that is a real metal solid submarine, not an optical illusion or so.
Anyway, I´m hearing advices from all type, about what to do with this.
best regards to all of you.

Hi Roman,

Some options for marketing your new illusion:

a) Take out advertisements in Magic Magazine and Genii

b) Contact and introduce yourself to established magic distributors and resellers, such as Stevens Magic Emporium

c) Rent a vendors booth at larger magic conventions

d) Contact illusionists directly by phone or mail

You'll want to get a professional video made, as well as an attractive website and brochure.

Best of luck on this! Sounds exciting!

Romanking,

I think one of the issues with your illusion will be the fact that it is a "real metal solid submarine"!!!!! Sounds HEAVY.

Not sure who would be able to use something like this. Your idea may be good though.

Yes, it has to be able to pack light and be shippable around the world......

Of course you can ship it around the world!

You just throw it in the ocean, and drive it across the sea.

Romanking, seriously now.... If the concept you have works with a real mini sub, it could/should work with something else large (ie. car, motorcycle, hippo, etc....). Maybe you would be better marketing it in a more "generic" form to be used on anything???????

Thank you to all my coleagues who send me interesting advices.
first of all, I´m gonna finish the plans, and construct it, taping it at the same time. then I´m gonna introduce it in the argentinian market, and I will see the results.
then I´m gonna contact resellers and magicians to see what they wont to offer me.
I don´t have any idea about the price to ask for. I´ll think it may be around 30.000 US Dollars.
And, yes, it´s a real and solid metal sub, but I´m trying some light metals, for an easy transportation. One more time, thanks to all. Best Regards.
