I'm talking coins here. Do you find a big bend is best or a subtle end bend? and I was wondering if anyone had any words on this wonderful little effect...

I have found the ladies prefer a more distinct bend ;-)

Silvertongue,
It depends on the bend I'm using. I prefer "Bent Cent" and John Sheets incredible Quantum Bender 2.0 The bent cent is nice, a different bend; subtle and yet distinct in its own way. The Quantum Bender is more severe, of course. One can get fantastic reactions and responses with both subtle and blatant bends. I prefer BIG bends, so there is no question. J.

With a subtle bend you can show it still bending at your fingertips.A bigger bend is harder to conceal if that makes sense.

I'm talking about 'in the spectators hand' bend...

Less is more. It goes by undetected yet creates an impact when discovered. A slight bend also seems more real than a large one.

No-one has bitten at the juvenile comments, its a sad day.
Of course a smaller, more subtle coin bend is better.

With the Quantum Bender 2, I make big bends and small bends. I prefer somewhere between small and medium.

I place the coin on the girls hand (Her coin) I place my finger on said coin it starts warping around my finger when I touch it.
I remove my finger it still bends as they watch. It ends bent about the shape of a slightly sprung letter U. J ack H.O.A-X

A little (In this case lol) does go a long way. As long as it bends visually then you got the job done. Usually I use these for demonstrations....think...how easy is it for a person to bend a coin with your mind? Yeah it would not be so easy. The smallest of best do the job.
